Lazarie Atkins creates thought-provoking artwork that combines her creativity and artistic ability with her interest for psychology and spirituality. Her paintings take a journey through life’s many dynamic experiences, exploring: relationships, spirituality, behavior, mentality, emotions, identity, and social issues.
“As an artist, I am a storyteller through whatever means necessary. When I paint, I create to seek ‘truth’, and to explore life’s many dynamic experiences. Most importantly, I create to honor God.”
As a multimedia artist, Lazarie pushes the limits of her creativity by using a variety of materials to manifest her creative influences, but the primary materials used for her paintings are acrylic on canvas. She has performed many live painting performances, and her work can be found throughout private and public collections, and has also been displayed in several exhibitions.
